Housing Survey

Thanks to everyone who took part in the Housing Survey, which NPC commissioned from Wiltshire Council to better understand the housing needs of residents in the parish. We had an amazing 46.2% response rate to section one of the survey and seven households completed section two which focussed on the need, or likely need for affordable housing in the next five years. Your feedback provides vital insight into a significant proportion of residents’ views – helping to inform NPC responses to planning applications and to any community based housing initiatives that may be forthcoming in the future. A PDF of the final survey can be found in Documents/ Wiltshire Council Consultations: https://nettleton-pc.gov.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Nettleton-Parish-Housing-Survey-Report-Final.pdf

Fly-tipping campaign

NPC is stepping up its campaign against fly-tippers. Look out for the signs going up around the Parish hot-spots. Please don’t put yourself in danger but if there is an opportunity to photograph offending vehicles and their licence plates it would be helpful in aiding prosecutions. You should never touch fly-tipped material or remove anything from the site/ open any bags etc. But again, photographs are helpful as it is a crime scene.
